fiji part 4 – sailing sea spray
Took a sailing boat further out to visit the remaining Mamanuca (Prounced: Ma-man-oo-tha) islands. Last stop was Mana island then hopping onto a dingy to catch the Sea Spray sailing boat. Day was beautiful.. hot with lots of sun and the water was crystal clear than ever!

As we sailed out of Mana to Matamanoa.. the waves started to get really rough that the sail boat felt like it was going to tip on its side and roll over. The boat was tipping like crazy and surprisingly I didn’t get sea sick! However a few people were soo ill they were chundering over the side of the boat covering their hands over their mouths *ewwwww*.

The island where no kids are allowed and babies are made LOL

MONDRIKI ISLAND
Modriki Island which is known as “CASTAWAY ISLAND” (Island where the castaway movie was filmed). The sailing boat anchored out in the deep water where we jumped off the front of the boat landing onto the Castaway island shores. Water was extremely beautiful.. and I totally understood what it would be like to be trapped on castaway island like tom hanks was.. The shores are very rocky which could severely cut your feet if not wearing the flippers.
Snorkeled for 2 hours which was beautiful.. Saw lots of beautiful fish and went diving under close to the beautiful coral and fluorescent fish!

TOKORIKI
After Snorkeling @ Modriki it was off to visit the remote village on the island of Tokoriki. Met with the elders and the island chief where we were invited to do the traditional Kava ceremony (Kava is a relaxing drug).
