After plonking my phat ass on my specs, I was forced to buy a new pair grrrr. Its the same pair as my old ones but in a different colour (previous were brown, new ones are black). Apart from that, after winning an award + iPad 2 at work, it finally got delivered after being on back order for 6 weeks. *yay*! read further as to how I won it ^_^

So how did I win it??
During a work conference in Melbourne, there were 3 categories where a total of three iPad2′s were to be won based on demonstrating performance and work values.

I was nominated for demonstrating INSIGHT and was shockeddd to hear that I had actually won. Personally, it was a great to know the work I’d been producing for the last 4 years was transparent across the business. On Monday, General manager flew up from Melbourne and personally handed me the iPad! Yay!!! its soo beautiful and I LOVE IT!!! At first i never thought i’d need one but now I can’t seem to live without it. It’s like a laptop with out the shitty cords. I google with it everywhere and play never ending addictive games!

Lesson of the day: Its always worth putting more than 100% of effort into whatever you do because even though at times you may not feel recognised, people at  the top are watching, hearing and noticing everything you do.
